Terms of Service.

Part 1: Coaching services.

Covers 1:1 Support, Continuation, and Steady Hands group cohorts.

What this is, and what it isn't

• Coaching is educational and supportive. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical or psychiatric care, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.
• If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, call or text 988, call 911, or contact a licensed clinician. Coaching is not crisis support.
• If we believe your needs exceed coaching, we may refer you to a licensed professional and pause or end services.
• You must be 18 or older.

1:1 Support

• Pay in full: covers 12 weekly 60-minute sessions. All 12 sessions must be used within 16 weeks of your first session.
• Monthly: covers 4 sessions per month, billed automatically each month until you cancel.
• Continuation (after three months): billed monthly at the cadence you choose.
• Messaging between sessions is included where stated: weekdays only, with replies within 24 hours. It is not for emergencies.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

• Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Monthly plans: cancel anytime through the link in your receipt or by emailing us before your next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges; the current month is not refunded, and any remaining sessions that month can still be used.
• Pay in full: refundable in full if you cancel before your first session. After your first session, it is non-refundable.
• Switching to pay in full: payments already made on a monthly plan count toward the pay-in-full price.
• If we end services early for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund any unused sessions.

Scheduling

• Sessions are held over video at a standing weekly time.
• Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed or cancelled with less notice are forfeited. Rescheduled sessions must still fall within your package's 16-week window.
• If we need to cancel, the session is rescheduled at no cost.

Steady Hands group cohorts

• A refundable deposit holds your seat and is applied to tuition.
• The cohort is confirmed about one week before it starts. The tuition balance is charged only then.
• If a cohort does not run, your deposit is refunded, or you may roll it to the next cohort or apply it to 1:1 Support.
• Once the cohort is confirmed and the balance is charged, tuition is non-refundable.
• Group confidentiality: what other members share stays in the group. Members who breach this may be removed without refund.
• Some sessions include somatic practices led by a guest facilitator. Participation is always optional; move only within your own comfort and physical limits.

Confidentiality

We keep what you share confidential, except where we believe there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, where disclosure is required by law, or with your written permission. Sessions are not recorded without your consent.

No guarantees

Grief has no timeline. We don't guarantee specific outcomes. Results depend on many factors, including your own participation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to these services is limited to the amount you paid for them in the three months before the claim.

Part 2: Other engagements.

Organizational, institutional, and program work by Project Grief LLC is governed by the signed agreement for that engagement. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.
