CJ Infantino CJ Infantino

After losing my wife, I learned the hard way that grief without structure is a slow drowning. The tools I went looking for — the ones I wish someone had handed me on day one — didn't exist in the form I needed. So I built them.

Therapy helped. Friends helped. Books helped. But what I needed beyond all of that was someone to tell me the truth, week after week, and hand me something concrete to do with it.

I'm now a certified grief coach and grief educator. I work 1:1 with people who are tired of surviving on willpower and want a steady way to keep moving. The framework I use is the one I built for myself, refined through every client I've worked with since.

If any of that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd like to hear from you.

A few things, mostly.

The principles I work from.

→ 01
You are not broken.
Grief is a normal response to losing what you loved. The pain is the proof of the love. Nothing about you needs fixing.
→ 02
Implementation over insight.
Knowing isn't doing. Most grief work stops at understanding. The work is in turning understanding into action — week after week.
→ 03
Forward motion isn't betrayal.
You don't have to leave them behind to live again. Motion is the proof you're still here.
→ 04
Compassion and accountability are the same tool.
Honest feedback delivered without shame. Holding the line and holding the person — both, on purpose.
→ 05
Small steps, repeated.
Built to last after our calls end. The work isn't what happens in the session — it's what happens after.
